Say I have a product in the skin care industry.
High quality, effective, no BS. While these are good things, my competitors also have similar products.
The main thing that differentiates me and them is not directly the product ingredients itself, but the fact that I am putting them together to create a "2 step treatment" of sorts and educating them on the fact that the reason some of them might not be seeing results is they are going about it wrong.
I want people to look at my product and say "Wow, I did not know that. That's why I've never had success with this." and then buy my product.
I know educating customers is probably not a good thing if you have to do it. Better yet is customers who already at the point of knowing the value and buying it.
I'm thinking about having the labels have the "Step 1" and "Step 2", then having really good copy to draw customers in by making them realize they are misinformed. Something like "Did you know the number 1 mistake..." etc...
