Hi. I'll just get straight to the points.
I've started my 'self-improvement journey' and recently joined this forum. I want to someday create a business and grow it. However, I'm not really sure where to start. Here are some information about me:
  • I'm turning 15 this year, and I'm currently in year 11 high school (I live in NZ, and we have 13 years of high school here)
  • I've been reading business books such as The Millionaire Fastlane , $100M offers and 4-hour workweek
  • I don't have a business or a job
Recently, I've realized it'd be much better to read those books whilst I'm growing my business (learn whilst doing). But I can't apply for LLC in NZ if I'm not 18. And I'm not even sure if I should start a business until I'm 18. I've seen some posts here say I should just focus on learning valuable skills such as programming and AI. And I kind of agree with that. I'm learning Chinese (I can already understand and say, but I'm learning how to read and write), programming languages such as Python, sciences, and mathematics.
So one question for me is, should I start a business right now?
And how do I do that? I know I lack financial literacy right now, so I'd probably need to acquire financial literacy skills first. But then, do I just jump straight into a business idea? Or maybe I should find a job instead? Do I need a mentor? Where can I learn financial literacy and the skills needed for business? I've been planning to go to med school to become a doctor, and then work on creating a business related to medicine - is this a good idea?
Sorry, this post was all over the place. I hope someone can give some advice or share their experience of how they started their entrepreneurial journey, thanks.
