Hey All,

I've noticed a problem in my day to day work. Being the owner of a established online business, I still find myself stuck in days where I am feeling very unproductive, jumping in and out of tons of different tasks, but not focusing on one and completing it.

Getting caught in the loop of trying to achieve many different things at once.

Whats your routine to ensuring you stay focused on one thing, and keep yourself feeling / being productive? Do you write yourself a weekly plan, any tools you use that help out a lot?

I have daily work related lists and non-work related lists and simply go through them in order of importance crossing them out once completed. (Completed may just be a time frame in some instances)

I also have a half hour morning and afternoon/evening period to deal with anything that unexpectedly requires attention. If nothing crops up I just relax, go for a walk, bike ride in this time.

I use pen and notebooks/diaries for everything.

Check out @LightHouse ’s Productivity system thread.

That system is the only thing keeping me going on any sort of consistent basis.

When my work fluctuates it’s either because:

1. I didn’t get enough sleep or
2. I wasn’t using the system

Hopefully I don't come across as too spammy, but i just launched a daily planning tool that might help - Planalyze.io. It's a real-time daily planner & progress tracking tool for individuals and teams. I hadn't thought about Entrepreneurs being a target audience, but it almost seems like the perfect fit.

Thanks,
Dan
