Hey all,
So cutting straight to the chase.
I have this idea of creating a platform, that connects customer with specialist.
The specialist is charging pr. session, so for every session, I'd like to take a cut, of course or somehow get profit out of every meeting they have.
But how can I make sure they're not going behind me / my platform's back, and make meetings without me and thus miss my profit?
Would an ideal solution be to setup a kind of booking system on my site, that they have to use?
Or somehow make the platform SO beneficial, that neither of them wan't to not use the site.
In the future I'd like to offer courses, books etc. Which is aligned with the niche of the website, which is where I expect most of my income to come from.

What do you guys think, do you have any good input?

Looking forward to hear your feedback!

Monitored communication, booking, reminders, billing, payment, terms/contracts, insurance, delivery through your platform. Despite this, some providers/customers will 'go behind your back', when they do not perceive that your platform provides further benefits. If you currently gain no income from this, you do not need to worry yet about how to 'keep gaining'.

This business model is known as an 'online marketplace'.

once you have your platform up and running and are getting some traffic the platform will become an amazing place for advertising for these specialist. I think this is how you can make money in the long run.
Good luck!
