Hi everyone,
So I finally decided to make an introduction post, I'm 19, from Ireland. And always had big dreams of having money, to have freedom and do whatever I want to do. I have read most of TMF , and will finish it soon.
Something about me :
I never got good grades in school, because I kept on loosing interest in whatever they tried to teach me , mainly because I knew I won't be needing that later on in life.
Last year I went to college and studied programming, which I thought would be fun and interesting...a few months into the course I lost interest, and realized that I don't want to be doing that for the rest of my life, and work for someone else. At the end of the year I ended up failing most classes , apart from 2 of them in which I had slight interest.
I have tried opening a few online businesses, my first one was drop-shipping clothing store, in which i spent around €200, and got nothing in return, so I closed it down.
I always get ideas for different online businesses , I go for half of them, and about half way in the process of creating them ,I dump them, because I either lose motivation to continue on, or the business starts to look too stupid to even work. (if that makes sense)
The businesses that I did finish, ended up failing.
For social life, I don't go out much ,as most of my friends do nothing in their lives, and have no dreams of being successful. Instead they smoke cannabis, and party every week.
Thinking about it , they're actually doing better than me, as they have full-time jobs, and earn cash. While I'm trying to go for something big , always fail , and end up with no cash at all. I have this problem, where I bounce from 1 business idea to another, and end up getting nothing done.
Right now, I sort of have my own garage ,where I clean cars, this makes me almost no money, as I barely get any customers, and I can't really do anything about it, since the garage is located pretty much in the middle of nowhere. I'm really close to giving up yet another business, this week I applied for a job in a retail store , where i'd get paid minimum wage, but at least i'll be getting paid regularly. I'll try to save up most of my cash, and hopefully open an online business which might make me money.
Sorry if I made this long , and boring to read. Hopefully in a few years I can look back at this, and say "A lot has changed, since then" ,in a positive way.
