My name is Edward, and I’m based in the Seattle, WA area. My background is in IT systems administration, networking, cybersecurity, and user education, I was your typical network consultant for about 15 years. For the past decade, I’ve worked in medical insurance and billing. After a long career in both fields, I realized that if I’m going to retire the way I want, I need to build something of my own.
That’s why I launched a business focused on a real need in my community: I’m developing an engaging, motivational workshop to help local seniors spot and avoid scams and bring technology to them. My goal is to empower them with knowledge and confidence, combining my love of teaching with my tech background.
So far, I’ve put together a 20-minute, TED talk–style lecture covering common scams and practical advice. I plan to present this free a few times to gather feedback and define my ideal customer profile. From there, I’ll expand it into a full workshop, which will serve as a platform for my main revenue stream: digital products.
I’m drawing inspiration from TMF , E-Myth, and Work the System. I also write both fiction and nonfiction. In the last two months, I’ve launched a basic one-page website, designed a brand and logo, and lined up some networking opportunities this month.
I use AI extensively for brainstorming and research, but always double-check what I find.
