So introductions are a common thing when joining forums and as such I am here to introduce myself and finally take a stab at the fastlane. I had been skulking around this forum for a couple days now and have finally decided to join!
So a little bit about myself, I am 25 years old and am currently sitting on a 20k student loan and no form of employment to speak of. I live with my parents
and had been mostly occupying my time thinking about what to do with my life. I have a degree in science and anthropology (odd i know) and there's not much you can do with that, but honestly there's not much i wanted to do. The idea of working for somebody had always bothered me, which is why i had started considering law school because then at least i could open my own firm. However, the thought of doing the same thing for the REST OF MY LIFE was soul crushing, that's when i stumbled across this site.
I started learning about the fastlane and how making money did not need to correspond with time invest if scaled and leveraged properly and that is what i want. I don't honestly care to be a multi-multi-millionaire i just want my time on earth to be in my hands.
Well anyways, right now i am looking into buying media space, thanks to Laverdure's thread
mostly because of the small barriers to entry. My short term goal is to reach 50k in the next 6-9 months (modest in this forum, a lot of really successful people), it would be enough to pay my loans and reinforce my faith in forgoing law school and realizing my dream of the fastlane :groove:.
