This is just the forum I've been looking for.

Not to sound arrogant but I've been feeling as if my mind is being warped by stupidity and it's hindering my growth.

To make a long story short

I thought I had what I wanted but now I realize that I am not quite there. I had a goal that once I graduated from college that I would never work for anyone. I met that goal but it's not quite right because I'm still a "slave". Freelancing my services has a certain freedom but I am not quite free enough. Now I am to the point where I hate what I'm doing and I'd rather be working on other things.

My goal is to be done with this freelancing by January so I can fully focus on the projects I've been developing.

Few people understand what my deal is. Everyone is happy living their wage slaving lives and I feel as if I won't get anywhere if that is the type of people I surround myself with. But it's hard to find people who "get it."

So that's my story.

Excuse me while I get back to slaving.

Hi, Cherryie,

Just curious . . .

If you refuse to be an "E" (employee)

And you hate being an "S" (Self employed person, or, "being a slave" as you call it)

. . . what are you gonna do?

What's your plan?

BTW, welcome to the fastlane.
