A few days ago I received a text from my phone service provider that went something like:
"Dear Mr. (NAME), we have good news conncering your plan. Just take a look into your mail in the next few days."
It didn't take longer than 1 day until I had a pretty big letter in my mail. When I openend it I had this in my hands:
I will translate it here for you guys:
"WE SAY
THANK YOU (the big pink 3D letters)
WITH A HIGHER DATA VOLUME
FREE FOR YOU!
Dear Mr. XXX,
maybe our text a few days ago made you curious and you are now wondering what to expect.
I'd like to say Thank You. Thank you for being a customer at Telekom. The last months we listened a lot, taking on the wishes and asked what would fascinate our customers.
All the more am I happy to tell you today, that we raise the base data volume in your plan. For Free.
Just as a Thank You for your trust.
That means: the data volume in your plan with the phone number XXX will be raised from currently 4 GB to 6 GB per month, starting on April 1st.
Kind regards and a lot of fun with your new data volume, your

I think that's a pretty great example of SUCS at work, especially because it is conducted by the biggest service prodiver in Germany, where you usually do not expect something like that. They send those to a lot long term customers (at least as I can say from people I know), one of my friends has a business plan with them, he received the same letter which told him that they raise his data volume from currently 8 GB to 12 GB. They really give you a lot of reasons with this to never change your provider, because you would lose the extra data volume that they gave you for free.
Just wanted to share that with you and get you into thinking about how you can implement SUCS into your business.
