Is it me or is it stupid to have the garbage disposer only on one side of the sink?? It goes out the same pipe! Can’t you just flow the other side into the disposer? You can still keep the drain cover the same.. it doesn’t need to be a big hole.. but, if small pieces of food slip through it goes into the dispoer.

Thoughts? Too bad it’s just an industry change not really an invention.. someone change it for us please!
