@raad182 quit the pitty party and get to work. you have plenty of ideas. start failing. see failure as an accomplishment. you are closer to the prize. pick an idea and put your soul into it for the rest of the day. then report back.

Hey @ZCP , okay just found something to working on.
I will build a basic game for android using Unity (a free engine), I want it to be really simple as Tetris yet addictive, enjoyable but to bring some value to the player maybe some knowledge like a foreign language. Still brainstorming what kind of game.

1. Get familiar with Unity
2. Brainstorm game ideas
3. Pick one
4. Create
5. Publish
6. Feedback
7. Act, assess, adjust
8. Failed ( )Y ( )N

What do you think?

Time to up your standards. You now have something listed in ONE of the boxes below.
What are you doing in the other boxes?

1. I will buy anything for $1 and sell for 2$
2. I will cold-approach 4-5 women
3. I will gradually change my mindset from " Take " to " Give ".
4. I will practice Forex a little bit more
5. I will get back to sports betting
6. Create an online passive source of income that demands less than 4hour/day of work.
.....unity game
7. Start a profitable business
8. Get in the best physique of my life
9. Often I have some free time at my corporate job that I could use to learn something.
10. Time with friends and nightlife
11. Willing to do whatever it takes to live the life of my dreams.

Keep adding to this list and evolving. If you a ditching something, line through it (list why) and work on the next one. You are young, full of energy, and low on ideas. Put a minimum of 1 hour each week into each box. You need to keep as many paths going as you can until something pops up that requires 200% of your attention. This list will help you on your journey as you add information / feedback / failures.

Now quit half assing and truly get to work on your life! Get to work!

Something in me is telling myself that his “why” is not strong enough. Whenever your why is strong enough, you find a way to make it happen.

I don’t think shotgunning ideas is going to help something stick tbh. The passion that he will think he finds will be out of progression and monatary return - money chasing if you will.

I believe that at this point there is a major lack of focus, confidence, and experience that he just needs to focus on one idea, regardless of how terrible the idea is, and learn what it is to go through a process of creation to success/failure. Start building proper muscle memory!

It may even be beneficial to chose something that he has a huge educational benefit, but will most likely fail just so he can go through the process of abstract thinking and process to try and make it work. That changes the thought pattern from “I hope this works / will this work?” to “how do I make this work?”

I think building the proper mentality is more important right now than anything else, and that comes from action, experience (success or failure), and reflection.

Hey guys, sorry for getting quiet but I needed to go offline a bit, listen to my surroundings and decide what I should focus. For the 1st time in my life, Im in touch with real entrepreneurs and everytime I came here with my self-beating words, I felt like a sh!T.
Yesterday I went for a run at the most popular park here and saw a mid-age guy with a tshirt " #developer " pushing his baby carriage with his wife and I've thought " Sorry but screw that, I don't want to live like that " and then I passed by a popular poker club, there were a lot of brand new cars and I felt a good energy coming out from that place and thought " Thats my thing ", later I played online poker from the comfort of my bed " I need to get good at this " popped in my mind.

So I came up with a few things...
- I've played Poker (300 hands until now) and Im seeing progress...Already read one book and will get serious about it.
- I will drop the idea of creating a language learning game for kids, it will take a lot of time since I know nothing about it.
- My mother was watching some TV about how important it is to use sunscreen on a daily basis and then...A complain " Yeah right but there is no cheap sunscreen " and then I went for that run (at the start of this post) and said to myself " If my mother mention the sunscreen again when I get back home, this is a signal " and for GOD, I got back home, took a shower and 5minutes later she came again with some sunscreen in hand " Look Raad182, Is this sunscreen good? Its not cheap " and I took a look, it was some random imported sunscreen and my head was like * BANG *. I don't know how hard will be to solve this problem but I will go until the end with this idea.

So @ZCP , now I have two things worth pursuing and I will execute both of them on a daily basis...Wish me luck!

Have you put what you have done and what you are stopping doing (with all the why info) into your entrepreneur log? Am guessing no. That you are dabbling and doing 'flavor of the month'.

Use a systematic approach. Identify an idea, research it, test it, learn, pivot. Log and note everything you do, whether / how it works, and WHY it worked or didn't work. This will be invaluable to you as you move forward.

Go back to your list of 11 and log here what you are doing on each or what you have stopped and why. Add any new ideas.

Then list what will get done the week. Then get it done. ...... time to give back and post this for those coming behind you!

Hey @ZCP
I've just faced a life changing event, kinda faced death and that made me rethink my life.
I decided to slow down a bit, be realistic, grow up and find a way, I just realized how short life is and I won't settle until I detach my money from my time.
Life has a funny way to teach serious things. Seize your day, enjoy life.

Lol why? He has a wife and a child and is spending quality time with them. He could be a multimillionaire for all you know.

later I played online poker from the comfort of my bed " I need to get good at this " popped in my mind.

I've got a couple things to say about all this you might not like.

1. What's up with the "looking for a sign" talk? You're looking for the universe to tell you what to do - it isn't going to happen. Recognize and accept that nobody is coming to save you and you are 100% responsible for your own life and choices.

2. You are trying to leverage the lifestyle of coasting on your emotions towards getting rich. It is not conducive to discipline. You feel good energy from poker? No, you're subconsciously attracted to fast and easy money because you lack discipline and have bad beliefs. "I was playing poker from the comfort of my bed when 'I need to get good at this' popped into my head.

So what? You want to be good at it because the idea of making millions from the comfort of your bed sounds rad. Yeah no shit that's why casinos rake in billions, people get obese at McDonalds and Sidewalkers stay poor.

3. The childrens language game might be your best bet. It's a solid idea. Your problem is that you're averse to work. Yes, it will take time to learn. Everything does. Right now it doesnt seem like you know anything that useful anyway so you might as well start there. Saying "I don't know enough to start" is going to stop you from learning anything. Change your language to "What do I know about this?", "How could I make this product?" and "What do I need to learn to make that happen?"

Basically, what @ExaltedLife said. YFI, some of the wealthiest people on this planet are developers (think Bill Gates). How somebody calls himself doesn't tell you a lot about his financial situation. Some devs own (a slice of) multi-million dollar companies. And perhaps he's just a family guy and loves this way of living. People are different. Anyway, I'll try to not get too emotional about this... :)

What's the value you're offering? Did your current job give you insights into a need? That should be the place to start at.

1. I won't discuss this. I consider this to be a personal choice and matter of faith/religion. I know that Im on control of my decisions but you can't ignore the external events.

2. Of course its not an easy task to make money while you are in your bed but anyone can pick a lifestyle that one enjoys. Some people dream about having a lovely wife, nice kids or a comfy home but that is not me. I just want something that I can do remotely and without being surrounded by people. Forex and Poker sounded like good options, I've done my research and I know that anything will require a high degree of work and discipline this why Im picking carefully and something I won't drop. Im trying and improving everyday at Poker, if I don't get a good feedback (improvement curve) in the next 30 days, I will just drop it.

3. Yeah, Im guilt on this, I even got angry at myself asking why is it so hard for me to work at something but when I look back I see that its not the problem, the problem is that I only work hard on things that are interesting for me. When I was excited about a blog idea, I would put the work day and night as Im doing with Poker right now but I just something to focus on, something I feel confident about and that I can see myself working on for a long period of time without thinking if im wasting my time.

thanks for the reply.

A quote I like: "You've done math for 12 years - and you still suck at it".

Seriously thought, I've been learning about programming and development for the past three, four years or something like that and still feel like I've only scratched the surface of what's possible.

30 days? Seriously?

If it's what you truly want to do (and you want to become good at), add a zero just for getting started. I don't know much about poker, but I bet there's a lot to learn.

Something kept you here. In my book, that means there is something greater that you are yet to do. You now MUST go do it.

I do not judge people on their past. I judge strongly on 'what they do next'.

What will you do next? Are you ready to quick dicking around and get serious? You said the words. Are you ready to walk the path?

For everyone reading this thread and following the @raad182 story ....
what is the % chance he does something?
what is the date when he will actually make some significant progress?
what could you learn from him to not get caught in the same loop?

What's your current job?

Corporate 9-5

What's the value you're offering? Did your current job give you insights into a need? That should be the place to start at.

My main task revolves around analysing/auditing suppliers and problem solving (non-compliances) on a daily basis.
There isn't a need I could fulfill, there are just the small ones that we deal with on a daily basis and the big ones that require large investments and are dealt by the board.
What I really learn here is about human behavior, leadership and office politics.

I'm burning inside for doing it, this wasn't a FTE, it was a life changing event, remember that I was with my family days ago? And I've said I would spend time with them? Yesterday I saw that those moments really could have been the last.
I just can't find what the hell I can do for others, just that.

What do you guys think about the idea of starting a pre-workout line?
I have a good body so to market the hell out of it wouldn't be a problem.
There is a dude here who made this but he just buy cheap and rebottle with his brand.

Brother...when you started this thread you had 11 people in your corner (probably more but that’s how many likes your OP got) AND you had a successful businessman in @ZCP who has been guiding you for free.

Since then it has been filled with questions and shiny objects and justification for not doing anything and the likes have dropped and presumably the followers has lowered.

I believe you have it in you to make it work but if you’re open to a suggestion here it is. Stop asking us what you should do and just go do something, anything. Think a pre-workout line will be successful? Great, go do it and report back. Maybe it will work, maybe it won’t. Either way, this forum will respect the HELL out of you for trying.

Are you being paid to do this? I'm confused. You're either a saint or the most patient person ever.

I was in the same loop as Raad, his mindset is stuck on being rich instead of being free. He's looking too long term, "oh I want this Lamborghini" instead of "I want to first pay off the car I'm currently driving".

He needs to stop and find his 'why'. Until he does that, he will keep flip-flopping from one idea to the next.
To answer your questions:
1) At his current state, he has 0% chance
2) 4-6 months from now when it finally hits him that he's making excuses, what he's doing isn't working - he needs to take a different approach
3) I was in that same loop. I've found my why, and I'm working on that why daily - some days I fall back into that loop but I kick myself out of it

Raad, good luck mate! You haven't had a REAL FTE, but you will.. and when you do; you'll understand how your journey so far has been all talk and no walk.

P.S: If it comes off as harsh, it's because I've been where you are.

Thanks guys for the reality check, trust me I wouldn't get this anywhere else.

I will pursue this idea, its the hand I have right now. Until I close my first sale I want this thread to stay dead, go help others as you guys have done for me.
Now its time for me to act.
Wish me luck!

The thing is ..... @raad182 isn't even the starfish....... it's the person reading this 3 years from now that just needs the push to get off their a$$ and take charge of their life and go F*cking make something happen!! If that is you in 2022, DM me and let me know if it made an impact.

Yeah I mean 3 pages in and my dude is still pursuing poker as his path to wealth. :inpain:
Hope he goes through with the pre workout idea. Plenty of swole dudes on instagram making $$$ as fitness influencers, affiliate marketing and selling private label brands. Easily the best idea he put forth. I just don't see him having the persistence to build up a following, as patience and discipline do not seem his strong suit.

Thanks for reading the whole thread. I'm slow to start because I really need to make up my mind and put all my effort into my targets but I will give a try to this idea.

Yesterday, I took the time to decide my life and where I want to be in the next years. I wrote 30 questions one a piece of paper and for two hours straight, I answered each one of them as a talk show and recorded everything, was an enlightining experience and I really recommend for everyone looking for self-knowledge.

Well, I decided that one year from now I want only two things:

1. Get in the best physique of my life by making the sacrifices needed and following the strict lifestyle, less parties, no alcohol and discipline. I've always wanted to give a shot at becoming a fitness star, one year from now I want to now that I gave my best for my dream, even for at least one year straight. I created my plan of workout and dieting for the next 11 months, I will hit 7-8% bodyfat around June, take a professional photoshoot and get back to the social media.

2. Have at least ONE profitable business. After reading a lot of truths here on the Forum, I've realized that I need to take a step back before trying to find a fastlane business. First, I need to do something, to try things, to fail and to earn the real entrepreneur credential...a profitable business. It doesn't need to fit the CENTS, its just to get started, to see some money flowing and to develop the basics. To find the one this is what I will do: Write 4 business ideas a day for the next 25 days, evaluate the ideas using CENTS and resources needed, Pick 10 ideas out of 100, 100% focus on executing (starting phase) 1 idea per month and find my 1st real business by december.

In a worst case cenario, I will erase all my doubts and later regrets in life. If I fail at my 10 best ideas, its a indicator that I wasn't born to be an entrepreneur, the same for the fitness life. During this month I will stick to the Poker (I'm seeing an improvement but lets see where I will be at the end of the month), Sports betting (Making some money here) and reset my body with new habits and a new diet.
