Some of you know me, or remember me from B&P like 11(!) years ago.
Since then I've been doing 1x slow lane 9-5 as a software engineer. I buy/sell stuff online too, but it's the definition of busy work. I've also bought and improved, rented, and sold, a few houses--from only needing paint & carpet, to 140 year old "historic" house, in my home town, which needed a complete gut and remodel, inside and out. We moved into a new neighborhood house I built in 2002, through a general contractor, we had good money saved, invested, and in cash.
That money is gone, I'm getting divorced, and I'm 43; it's the perfect time to hit reset on some things.
So I'm starting something.
I have a rough idea of what to start with. I'm going to approach businesses with the broad-strokes and see what resonates, what doesn't. Once I have a "shut-up and take my wallet" moment, I'll see if others want that thing too.
So:
Day 0: Talk to businesses
I will be looking for people to make this work. More to come on that when appropriate.
