This is my first ever post so it will not match the quality of long-time posters. I'm in a stage in my life where I'm not sure what to do next. My friends have all accepted the slowlane, my family is extremely supportive of the slowlane, and that just isn't my cup of tea. As I state on my profile, I've lived in poverty my entire life. I'm 22 and I'm sick of it and do not look forward to working for the next 40 years just to keep everything I "own". I'm currently in college for electrical engineering after spending 4 years in music performance and I hate it. I'm trying to power through it just in case I get stuck in the slowlane, but I am willing to do everything in my power to not. I don't have much of a business inclined mindset but I love to learn and have been doing a lot of research for the last two months to try and get an idea of what to do. I feel like I have a solid idea of what I need to do once I find the first step but I have no idea of what the first step is. I'm glad to be a part of these forums and have already read some really helpful posts. Major thanks to those successful people kind enough to provide guidance for those of us stuck in the mud!
