Greetings all,
Any ideas how to go fastlane with this?
I ended up here after reading this fabulous book.
My name is Kevin Sheridan. I'm an independent packaging & disposables consultant. Like many people I worked for many years in the corporate sector and my work was travelling aroud the world qualifying factories for packaging and disposables distributors. I worked in China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, USA etc. Great work if you can get it but I always wanted to work for myself. To cut a long story short I eventually left the company I was working for and started my own consultancy company advising disposables and packaging companies where to buy their products and helping them with the procedure.
The market is huge. Any companies who use packaging & disposables (checkout bags, produce bags, cups, plates, boxes etc etc.(Not the small ones though you need to target the big guys) I'm based in Europe and as I'm well known here I work for some of the largest companies. I still think it's possible to penetrate the US market. Finding companies you can trust in Asia is actually very difficult. Companies experience all sorts of headaches with quality and delays. They will pay for good consulting in order to avoid this.
Seeing how positive this book is. I thought this forum might be a magnet for postive minded business folk.
I'd like to find someone who would like to take care of the sales side of things over there. To find the clients. Once you do that we have the expertise in Europe to advise them.
If you have unlimited fix line phone calls and a get up and go mentality this just might be a Fastlane opportunity for you.
