Hello guys,
I'm 31y and have a normal 9-5 job routine and have been faking that I'm following the scripted path in order to socialize with people in general such as family members, friends, and coworkers.
In daily interactions, I'm pretending to save money for a house deposit, get a 30-year mortgage, get a partner, have kids and etc.
The idea if anyone approaches me asking when I'm going to act in it I will blame and divert to uncontrollable variables...economy, unstable job market, housing market, government and wall street.
In reality, I'm debt-free, full-time employed and able to save 60% of the net income and building a diversified dividend portfolio to generate income for early retirement, I have nearly 60k invested and the dividends are being reinvested automatically via RDP plan.
Just wondering, if there may be any drawbacks doing it or fake it until you make it?
