Never wait for the perfect time, because that time will never come.
RamEri why can't you start now.
I don't have enough money.
I don't know how to start a company.
I don't want to fail.
I don't know what to do if I succeed?
I am not old enough.
I don't think anyone would work for kid.
If too many people want my service I wouldn't be able to fill them all.
I don't know how to deal with competition?
I don't want to lose money?
I don't want to get robbed!!!
I don't want my friends to criticize me.
I don't want my family to criticize me.
I don't want to…
What if…
What about X…
What about Y….
Z wouldn't like that….
F*ck all this self doubt. I couldn't let go of my security blanket. So I set it on fire to get me to let go. Everyone is calling me one stupid, lazy, and crazy mother F*cker for quitting my “secure” govt job. I don't care anymore. I am stepping on a one way train to freedom and there ain't no F*cker that can get me off.
I am tired of getting walked all over, I am tired of all the assholes, I am tired of all my work getting buried in the ground. I don't have any free time. And this 9-5 thing kills my spirit too.
I will build an empire that will carry me till death and then some. I want to see just how far I can get in the theater of life. Before my scene is over. I am in control now. I am now responsible for my actions and I got no one to blame. Wish me luck on my adventure into the unknown.
Hello Hello everyone welcome to my progress thread. I have never formally introduced my self on here but I have done some posting here and there.
Anyway here is a quick time-line of my few months out of high school so far.
-May 2015: I Graduated High School. At the time I was doing a lot of traveling so I didn't think it was worth it for me to get a job.
-July 2015: I got a job at a restaurant washing dishes and boy did it suck I only lasted 2 weeks.
-September 10 2015: I got a city job with useless benefits. Basically 401 k and Insurance.
-November 12 2015: We had a big meeting at work and one of the higher ups decided to play us an inspirational video that was a little too inspirational. Needless to say that video made me want to quit my job. The thing that I loved the most about that video is the part were they say “It is never the perfect time”. Ever since that day I will never be the same again.
-November 16 2015: I Quit my job. And put in my two weeks notice. LOL My boss was trying to convince me to stay. He said I could expect an annual hourly pay increase of 2%. You should have seen he had a look of doubt on his face when I told him I could do 1000% increase with in one month. And by then he already knew nothing was going to make me stay.😀
-November 23, 2015: So how are thing going for me right now. So far I am just dealing with the fallout of doubt and fear mongering from my Parents, Uncles, Aunts, Coworkers, Friends, and family friends. I have become a social pariah. The only people who support me are surprisingly my cousins. One of them is very critical and judgmental but I am surprised she supports me. That’s kind of cool. The only other person who supports me is my brother. I guess I taught him well.
You know it really sucks when you are about to become free and everyone grabs onto your shirt and tries to stop you from getting that freedom. Everyone tries to tell me that this is the wrong path but their words don't have any weight to me. Because none of them have ever traveled this path before.
I am just glad that I learned how to give no F*cks. So I can't be scared back into my security blanket. Oh wait I forgot I burned it.
