My condo here in Scottsdale has this super difficult mailbox.
The first few times I had to struggle and struggle, cursing my landlords the whole time, for at least 10 minutes.
Finally with the right combination of prayers and wiggling the key, I was able to open the mailbox.
For three days, each day it got easier and easier. Today, I realized, that I've been trying (and succeeding) to open THE WRONG MAILBOX!!!! :smx4:
What's interesting about this experience to me is that I was able to do something that should have been impossible, just because I expected it to happen.
In my mind, that key HAD to open that mailbox, it never occurred to me to question that assumption (until after the fact, and all the mail was addressed to someone else
). Since it HAD to open the box, it did, I made it happen.
Just a little example of beliefs and what a big part they play in success.
