I agree with the sentiment and have even told the chairman of the company I work for that he should be appreciated by the families he's created good paying jobs for in Western Australia. He gets little credit just abuse generally and that isn't right. He's a working class man from Ireland and remembers everyone even me after more than ten years. Sorry for the rant.
Did you know him?remembers everyone even me after more than ten years
I really do not understand why Elon lost his time answering that sh*tty tweet.
" Why did you quit school at 16 ? "
" you have to mix whith all those stupid kids and the teachers are even stupider than the kids "
Be careful with the anti-education sentiment. It can be seductive to knock it but research shows that eduction is probably the best thing to happen to the US. Our quality of life has skyrocketed since we revamped our educational system.Wow that impressed me, honestly, I am 16 years old and I feel the same way, but I can't quit...

Elon's got enough going on in his life to be bothering with some hater on the internet.
i don’t even get this joke and it still made me laughSounds like somebody wants a helicopter ride
Water. Water = life. How could you improve the situation of a third world country? Lets pretend Jeff Bezos gave you 100 billion..
it’s easy to say but these trolls sometimes have a way of just sucking you in.. i deal with it all day on here
i don’t even get this joke and it still made me laugh
This is why I don't have a twitter account.
Hi Chris, I'm from Spain but I think it is similar (of course, better in the US).eduction is probably the best thing to happen to the US
I agree with you about the importace of education, but i think my best education is being at this forum, the books and some youtube channels.Education is a large part.
That's sure hahahahahaThe whole reason this moronic lady said this was that she clearly missed economics class.

Just a little advice from an older (31 yrs) dude. Education literally gives humans 'super human’ powers in comparison to other species. Look at what we’ve built in comparison to sh*t-flinging chimps. Education is a large part.

There may be things that can be done better, but if you comb through the data you realize the educational institutions we’ve build are probably the single best investment we’ve ever made.LOL. Our education system is an absolute joke.

lol stumbled upon this pretty funny
''capitalism is failing us''
I'd totally support socialism as long as I have political power tho *wink*
Don't devalue self-education. The smartest person I've been introduced to, with the possible exception of MJ, is a man who quit school at 15 to create his first business, and then went back ten years later for an MBA - no degrees in between. In the meanwhile, he built a multi-million-dollar business. I don't say he's smart for that reason, though it could be true. I say it because I've heard him speak and read his book. It's all about learning for the world we're moving into. https://leveragedlearning.co/2018/ll/read-for-freeBe careful with the anti-education sentiment. I agree with @ChrisV, school sucks, but holding onto that mindset will keep you from learning later in life. So many people drop out because they hate school, but they don't do anything with all of that free time anyway.Wow that impressed me, honestly, I am 16 years old and I feel the same way, but I can't quit...
Education and capitalismWhat do you guys think would be the solution to world poverty?
Erin probably thinks its just giving away a few billion dollars which wouldn't do much in the long term.
