Hi,
I have been running an E-Commerce store for about 11 months and it is growing well. The items I sell are very specific and I am considering adding additional products to the store however I have a couple of concerns:
1) The products I would like to add are not much related to what I am currently selling and what the brand is about, so I am afraid to have a negative impact on the brand, however at the same time I may lose on potential selling a larger range of products. I have a good following on Social Networks with this site and I would rather not start a completely separate site if possible. Add products or not?
2) I would like to open a section on my E-Commerce store where I sell items with minor defects (usually just aesthetic defects) at discounted price. Sometimes I receive some items that are not perfect from the manufacturer and I don't sell it on my website (I usually just put them up on eBay at 50% off), however I was thinking whether it would be ok to have such a section on the website, obviously it would be made very clear that the items simply have minor aesthetic defects and are perfectly functioning. Would this cheapen the brand?
Thank you for your help!
