Do you think this is a good idea?

I had an idea the other day. I think it's a pretty good one:

Success Radio

It would be an FM radio station in Austin, TX, much like the comedy channel. Although instead of stand-up bits, we would play sound bites of lectures, talks, seminars... motivational speakers, etc.

I googled it and there's not much out there except maybe three or four internet radio channels doing this currently.

Thoughts?

It's a MUST READ. In it there is a section with identifying market opportunities and market needs. Excellent.

I don't understand radio stations enough to give feedback but if you think there is a legit need or market gap and you can create value then go for it.

Love, love the idea. Maybe even "Fastlane Radio" which would cover entrepreneurship, motivation, success, marketing, financial topics, etc ... all things in the Fastlane perspective.

Hell yeah! I really do love the idea! Instead of listening to the same audiobooks or podcasts over and over, fresh content would reign king. I wonder how one would go about getting on Iheartradio?

I would like this very much, I haven't been able to find this type of content in the iTunes radio, or on internet radio apps like TuneIn radio. The stuff that is out there seems either coming from: a) the Suze Orman "personal finance" tips variety, b) the "leftist" POV towards markets and big bad business (not that there's anything wrong with a little leftism) , or c) would-be marketing gurus.

I would love a "Fastlane" focused channel with fresh content. There's a lot of Nightingale-Conant type podcasts out there but Zig Ziglar and Jim Rohn type material gets repetitive over time, although it's great. I bet the content of this Fastlane Forum would be a good source of material for a radio show ("Today's hot topic on the Fastlane: Should I learn to program, or not?" --- ).

PS. In addition to radio, I've been thinking someone should create a Roku Channel for this type of thing. There's dozens of niche channels that people have created for that outlet ("Yoga for Cats", "Daily Affirmations with Stuart", etc.), I bet some of you braniacs could figure out how to set one up. I'd watch that kind of radio on TV!

I'm diggin' it! I drive quite a bit.. Would be great in the car... at home too. Plenty of content out there. . Great place for advertising too I think! $$.
