Peace be upon you all!
Please bear with me as I'm trying to improve my writing skills.
I am 17 years old in my senior year of high school and working part-time in retail. I bought Unscripted in 2022, when a few people on social media recommended it to me. This book ended up helping me in such a great way.
I was a slob. Bought this book when I was 15, about 5'9, and nearly 280 pounds. My daily habits consisted of eating like a hungry bear straight out of hibernation, and consuming as much entertainment as I could. The sole thought of my past misery disgusts me. However, this all changed when I read Unscripted. The pain of regret turned into the pain of discipline. Routine shifted from constant comfort to unpleasant actions consisting of discipline. And voila! I lost all that slobby-ness on my body, (nearly 100 pounds). This was a life changing event, people constantly complimented me, and I actually earned some respect. I identified my daily action target, and acted until I got the desired results. Now, looking at myself in the mirror, I get daily reminders of the long process that brought me to this event.
As of now, I'm doing my absolute best to achieve my entrepreneurial dreams. Despite my great accomplishments, I've faked action-taking for a long time, consistently doing actions based on motivation, not discipline. I was like most people, aiming for event-driven idealism instead of honoring the process-principle. In fact, I still get lazy sometimes, forgetting my purpose, and fall off track. However, I am starting to take more daily actions to get closer to my dreams.
To all reading this: Destroy what destroys you
And finally, I want to thank MJ for writing this book, and for greatly helping me in life!
