I believe that the starting price is the most important indicator of all.. If price is above starting price, I only think about going LONG. If price is below starting price, I only think about going Short. So in that case I was looking to go LONG when it shows nice bullish bar with heavy volume. However nothing really showed up until 9:43 when it went below starting price with huge bearish bar with nice volumeCare to explain why you entered at that point?
It looks like a break below the open price was a good short - there was a nice wedge with a flat level there, as well as that big rejection bar (the 2nd bar of the day)... curious what you saw when you did enter that you liked?
I keep it secretWhat was your parents reaction?
hahaha good one. I think I will start losing once brokerage start charging feesYou'd better have a losing day pretty soon or I'll start to think you're related to Bernie Madoff
In my Thinkorswim account, there is a /KRW futures symbol listed, but when I enter it in, no data comes up. If I drill into specific contracts, like /KRWM3 a chart comes up, but there is virtually zero price movement or volume.
Curious about your first trade of the day here. Looks like you bought right at the open. All of your other trades have used the open price but waited for confirmation above that level, so what was different here that you sold right at the open level?I made 3 trades today
I shorted at 1123.10 and covered at 1121.70 = 14 ticks
I shorted at 1122.00 and covered at 1121.10 = 9 ticks
I shorted at 1121.20 and covered at 1121.20 = 0 tick
Total = 23 ticks x 36000won = 828000won = about $730
now I have about 25.7K
Actually, nothing was different except I am now using trailstop of 5 ticks for exit so I can pretty much get into any position with less risk. From now on, my holding period for holding position will significantly be reduced. Now what I am doing becomes more like a scalping.Curious about your first trade of the day here.
