I've been active here all of 1 or 2 days
and here's how I feel...
fairly graphic and you might think I'm kidding or exaggerating but ahh no not really.
But I'm ready for it. That's what I say anyway through slightly gritted teeth.
The reality?
Change is freakin tough.
It's literally taken an act of God to get me to this point—
the point of being willing to do what I need to do, the hard work to get it done. I mean, I read the book The Millionaire Fastlane and really got into it but reading it and doing it is like watching football compared to playing it.
Unlike the crazy guy in the picture, I probably should have enough sense to let go but I cannot because I know that I know that I know this is the way I have to move forward.
So let me ask you Fastlaners...
Does it get easier and in what way?
And in what ways have you had to change?
You know the picture of the guy being dragged? We really used to do this as teenagers in the snow in Massachusetts but always in a crouch position firmly on two feet, head tucked in behind the car so it doesn't get taken off by a vehicle going the opposite direction and the driver hopefully doesn't spot you and put on the brakes. And in what ways have you had to change?
It is great that here the less experienced have the chance to ride on the bumpers of the super cars (or fastlane member coat tails). Just don't put on the brakes please. Hey if it's good enough for Buffet (he's done plenty of coattailing from what I understand)...
I'll keep hanging in there but I hope that before too long I'll get my feet under me, minimize drag, and really pick up speed.
Hey, maybe I'll even get behind the wheel of my own super car.
