Hi Everyone!,
I am new here but have been reading around quite a bit and see a lot of good advice and tips get passed around, was hoping I could get some myself.
I live in Houston Tx and see car accidents on a day to day base whether they be small or more serious ones. Some of the biggest issues facing people when involved in a car accident is getting all necessary information at the scene of the accident, filing a claim, dealing with insurance after the fact as well the other drivers involved.
It finally struck me that what if there was a app to simplify all of this?
Let me give some detail:
You are at a red light one day on a busy street during traffic hour stopped and out of no where the driver behind you isnt paying attention and rear ends you. First things first both drivers must get to a safe location and then this is where the App jumps in play! As mentioned before alot of people arnt really aware of what to even get from one another, so first you would open up the app and hit the "Ive been in a accident" button which will then begin the process. It will then go through step by step guiding you to gather all information necessary, take pictures of both vehicles, give current locations, and finally any additional pictures/comments to help the case. Finally once all is done it saves all this information(Of course in a neat manner for later use, as well a police report if any officers were on scene) and is filed into a format that can then be easily sent to your insurance provider which you would have easily given when first signing up with the app. Throughout the coming weeks communication with you, the insurance companies involved, and the other drive will be made extremely easy as a communication network of some sorts would be integrated. Now of course I want to point out this is all theorizing and nothing is in the works besides some good thought into this idea but I see it having possible potential and am excited at the idea and would appreciate as much feed back as possible both positive and negative.
I hope my stay on this forum is long and prosperous!
Thanks guys and gals!!,
