For the last month or two I've started to get seriously into finding a way to provide value to the masses, I've got my mindset attuned to looking for problems and thinking of solutions while keeping my own monetary goals in the very back of my mind.
My problem: I come up with a few solutions to problems daily that I and others run into but I just can't seem to find one that's worth pursuing to me. Nothing i find has enough magnitude. I don't want to sell trinkets that make a specific task slightly easier I want to find some thing with impact. I want to work on something worth working on, you know? 4
I'm right at the starting line of the fastlane highway and I can't seem to get myself to put the car in drive and go. I've had one service success in my local town that did mobile auto detailing targeted at wealthier neighborhoods and the wealthy which did better than I expected but now it's too cold to do that. Since its gotten cold I started trying to work online and have only failed at that medium. I'm just not sure what to do. I guess this maybe more of a rant than anything but I'm wondering, for those out there that have had a successful startup, how did you know your idea was the one? At what point in the search for your project did you say,"this is it"?
Background: Im 19, I live in Illinois working a dead end job as a mechanic and go to community college. I want nothing more than to just escape and be able to support my family and travel.
