Business idea based on hospitality staff shortages

Hey all,

I have a business idea based on shortages in the hospitality sector in my country. According to some articles pubs are having to close early because they do not have the staff to be able to stay open, I don't know if this article is accurate but I did a little digging.

- Multiple pubs in my city are hiring with the tag 'Urgently needed' on job websites
- A lot of them do not have websites

My idea is to offer a unique service. If pubs find themselves suddenly short staffed for the evening they can call me or contact me via my website to request emergency bar staff on the spot. I would charge them €25/hr per barman needed. I would pay the bar staff on my team €17 per hour for any jobs they take. The steps needed to validate this idea would be to simply contact bar owners and ask them how/if their business has been affected by the shortages and if this service could have helped them. If they don't like the idea maybe I could pivot and try and sell them a website that is aimed at attracting potential future employees.

Is this idea dumb or am I making some sense?
