18 months to build the business with employees, now opening franchises.

Window cleaners in the UK I'd say TYPICALLY charge £15 per house and if you have a tight compact round (A round of lets say 20
customers all in close proximity to eachother,) you can earn £300 a day. If they're SUPER CLOSE you can earn more as you'll get through more customers

I've come across window cleaners who are doing £500 a day, so £300 is doable.

I'm in a couple of window cleaning groups and I hear that a lot of customers do not like Water Fed Pole (the method that Tidal and majority of cleaners now use due to speed, efficiency and better safety) and that some customers are asking for traditional window cleaning as they're not happy with the method as it leaves spots sometimes - theres possible and opportunity for someone there.

I'd expect not much of an opportunity as its mainly older home owners 65+ who will not be around for too much longer and WFP is way better for speed and time is money is you'll know but who am I to put anyone off.

Anyway just thought it would be good to hear the forums thoughts on this sort of business

I see a lot people coming on the forum not wanted to do anything other than set up a course/ebook/ig page or coach someone when they're not 'successful' yet themselves and I think theres a lot to be had in home services.

A friend of mine had a window cleaning business and did really well.

Round our way (North West England) the average price is £5 a house. But there’s 30 houses on our road and I reckon he does the lot in less that 2 hours easy.

I'd imagine once you get professionalism, branding, customer service and quality down, you're set. You can definitely start with 0 pounds by just going into stores asking if they need someone to do their windows. Granted, there are a lot of stores that do already have cleaners, so it's about being there when they need one.
