I'm looking for something simple, when customers call our business number I just need someone to take down their name, contact info, and brief scope of work. Then this should be forwarded as a text or email. I've researched this a bit and became overwhelmed, there's a lot of companies that provide this service offering different packages but no one seems to list any pricing. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hi there! I am not using any services, but my friend is using the services of a virtual receptionist for his business. The service providing company provides him service at affordable rate than an in-house receptionist. For service offering packages you need to check them by visiting their site or click here for pricing. Many business owners hire virtual receptionist services for taking down all the details of a customer's name, contact no and brief scope of work. This virtual receptionist list down all the work and update it to the owner. She works 24*7 hours a day and never take a leave because these virtual receptionist is a group of professionals.

I do and it significantly improved my core business, they are so good that clients calling think they are my actual staff. Crazy low price too.

Unfortunately the company I use is Australia based.

458,

I think I'm going to give these guys a try, they have a 30 day free trial. Do they charge on a per monthly basis? Any contracts/commitments?

Yup, per month basis. I don't recall a contract but again never had a reason to cancel.

You want something fast and simple?

Use Google Forms with Google Voice
I'm not joking. Set up Google Voice to make and recieve call.s

Set up a Google Form with all the questions you want asked, Answers.
your employees open the form, every day, reload per call.

Voicemails get saved in Google Voice.
Texts are saved in Google Voice.
People who call get a professional voicemail (when you set one up)

You don't have to worry about security because : Google.
You don't have to worry about pricing structures, because again Google.
Your call notes get saved in a Google Sheet where you can EASILY copy, use scripts, use add-ons.. Whatever you choose.

Total Cost? F.R.E.E
Headsets plugged in Google Voice means free calls out and in.
You can even set up other phones to be forwarded calls.

Now go to upwork and hire someone to do data entry.
