***Amusement park attraction…. help me rename…??

ok, you may want to check my process thread on my amusement attraction….

So, i originally planned to call it daredevil high wire….

reason being, is because it it themed with horns and devils tails and colours of devil(black and red)….and people generally refer to people who do walk high wires as "daredevils".

Now, i didn't think there was issue in using this name, causes my trademark search showed that nothing came up…..

But i went to see my lawyer today who specializes in trademarks and patents. My plan was to trademark the name "Daredevil Highwire"…. so that i protect from anyone trying to copy cat the name and concept for making a similar high wire attraction.

I told her that there is a "daredevil dive" roller coaster at six flags park…and, even if i trademark my attraction, i may have issue selling the daredevil anywhere close to where that roller coaster is….

More than anything i would like to protect the "theme" of the attraction for this type of attraction.

She tells me that i should not use this Daredevil name….and to use a name that is very unique.

I liked the name Diablo.

But that is also a name of another six flags ride…a loop coaster…and even though they are different types of attractions all together….still not good.

So,
fastlaners…….

I need those creative juices flowing. I need your help….

Anyone have any ideas of a themed devil attraction names that reflects the daredevil spirit in humans….

Its a tight rope attaction,

its peak has a participant suspended 50ft in the air on a 1" thick line.

its black and red….

it has horns and tails…

anyone have a unique name in mind?

i can also change the colours and take out the tails and horns ….and change the skin of the entire attraction with ease and create theme and look altogether different.

Got a name? maybe ideas on theming it out according to name?

…something that screams daredevil/risktaker/intrepid/daring/fearless/brave/couragious/lionheart/valiant/kamikaze?

If you can't use the Daredevil theme, you may want to reconsider the whole 'devil' angle. While I personally am not a religious man, others you come across in the industry might be...or feel that they would deter religious riders with that naming angle. This may limit some of out potential opportunities. I may be wrong, since I'm not in the industry, but consider the potential issues with Diablo or Devil name before going all in.

If it is a concern then perhaps you could consider keeping the colour theme and instead play on the wire element. A black widow spider pops into my mind.

Don't necessarily need to keep to the daredevil/devil theme.

Would put me a bit behind in project to change but that's no biggie.

The black widow/spider and cobwebs would be interesting....and workable.

Sounds a bit boring and not the devil theme...unless the catch phrase is emphasized:

WireWAlk..."unleash the daredevil within"...or something.

So I have 2 versions of this attraction.

One has a max height of 50ft and can be used from ages 6 and up

The other is a smaller scaled down version for kiddie section ....which most all amusement parks have...a kiddie section

It was originally gonna be:

Daredevil high wire (large version)
And
Lil'Daredevil (kiddie park version)

Now that daredevil is outta picture....need something for both....

I think personally, and I may be wrong...but using such words as "hell, satan, or lucifer could be a bit on the dark side....maybe a bit too dark. I know it's Devils theme/look but still.

Am I off?

See, lawyer said daredevil high wire is issue ...even though the high wire attraction is not similar to the roller coaster daredevil dive.
It's because the word daredevil.

I wonder if wicked wire would be issue if it's created as one word as opposed to 2 words.
There is a ride called wicked launch tower...so wicked wire would be issue...
But if it's called:
Wickedwire or Wicked-Wire....one word...would this avoid issue?

I like Rope Rage but it doesn't fit in with your devil theme, the other question is though; does the devil theme (beside "daredevil") fit in with a rope walk?

Tigh rope walkers are widely known or referred to as daredevils. But devil alone with tightrope...I would think not.
That's why I would think it necessary to use daredevil incorporated into the attraction somehow.

I like your "hell high above and tightrope of..."
But I think for a name we need to stick to one or two words max when naming..

Something catchy but associated.

Someone mentioned a spider/cobweb theme that I be open to...

Maybe a diff theme altogether that captures the walking on wire attraction....??
