Before you discard this thread let me just start of my saying: I learned my lesson
Before I read any of MJs books I started an FBA "business" selling fitness accessories. Needless to say it failed in a matter of months because of quality problems with the Alibaba products. I followed an Amazon Gurus course, which was a big mistake but back then I didn't know any better. Ironically, the Guru was also the person that highly recommended both of MJ´s books. I read them as quickly as I could and they were absolutely eye-opening because MJ mentioned the EXACT problems I had in my "business" (especially in Unscripted ). After finishing both books I stopped the whole FBA "business", at least what was left of it.
I am still dealing with closing that business down and got discouraged for a while after that failure. After almost two years I picked both of MJs books back up and read them again. On my second read-through I noticed that I didn't even understand a lot of what he was saying at first (and I still learn) but it gave me new insights and a strong desire to stop my action-faking.
I plan on following MJ´s ideas and CENTS framework meticulously. Starting with my registration here and posting an Introduction thread.
