I thank god, seriously. I really hope after reading this whatever fallback you are experiencing eases out and u start to feel grateful.
I met a guy on a discord call, he was from Delhi India , typical incel; 28 year old, has not done any kind of graduation, never had any gf, was unemployed, living with parents, watching anime all day long, doesn't go outside and hanging on discord for "socialization". (i myself am from Mumbai, India)
I often times get the feeling of not being enough, and lagging behind in this world. I feel i have made no progress.
But incidents like these make me realise how much i have improved along the years.
It all boils down to mindset.
I tried to help him, gave him all the tips to improve which i could possibly can, because I genuinely want another human being to not suffer. I did not gatekeep anything, told him what books he can read, what things he can do, what stuff he need to improve on.
But all i was getting from his side were excuses, "yea bro, i tried it but it didn't work", "yea bro my shoulder blades are not that strong", "everyone else is normies, so i don't wanna make them my friends"(bro thinks he is above them); "yea bro, nothing happens from mindset"
He had aleady decided that he can do nothing in his life and best is to just watch anime and waste his days, he wasn't even trying, just gave up on everything.
After all this, i just thank to god for giving me a chance to improve. Im 19 years old, i don't have any kind of physicall disability, i get to improve and push myself to my limits.
Gratefull that i have a dog i love, i get to live, i get to study, i get to be an entrepreneur, i get proper food and literally everything else
Things which i feel like are supposed to be common knowledge, foundations, are actually not that widespread.
I thank god to letting me have the knowledge i have right now, the knowledge that a person can become anything he wants, human body and mind can change if he really wishes to change.
I really hope that it flipped some kind of switch in him to change,if not, i hope he finds that soon.
But i don't think he will change, we can't do anything about a person if he doesn't want to change, no matter what.
A wasted potential, a wasted life.
He started watching anime in the background later on, and i just said "bye i got to go" and left.
The crazy thing is, there are more people like him, who just blame on their circumstances and refuse to take actions.
SURE, I haven't improved by tremendous amount like i have before, but still Gratefull that im atleast improving 1% a day. Even that matter.
No matter at what age you are at right now, what matters is that you have took the first step; of realising the fact that you can change.
Atleast you have woken up.
MANY PEOPLE DON'T EVEN WAKE UP FROM THIS.
I'm grateful for everything in my life.
