Thought that many of you hear would enjoy this. Many of these concepts were very simple and show you that by DOING you can really get something going. Especially when you have an easy market, like a college town. Give the people what they want.

I like a lot of these ideas. Let me know your thoughts!

Great article. I was telling Yankess about it earlier tonight. What really struck me is that most of the businesses aren't new ideas. I don't mean that in a bad way... An energy drink company, bottled water company, doughnut shop, t-shirt line etc. As G Alexander says, most of the concepts are simple. These guys just decided to put their own particular spin on those concepts. They had the ambition and put the work in to make it happen. They also prove that being in college or of college age need NOT be a disadvantage.

Thats a great list! :great: Especially for college students. Just goes to show you, you CAN create a start-up while still attending school.

I really like the InternshipIN and Lingt Language ideas. Those seem to to have the right, a long lasting idea to help and provide something valuable to their customers. Heck, I'm looking into Lingt language right now. I'm always looking to learn a new language in the most efficient way possible.

This is an EXCELLENT post. I run a virtual entity in the college space. Considering these economic times, this article would be a great motivator for my readers to keep their eyes on the prize. Great drop.
