I have ~$200k and want to build business(s) that generates enough to retire in my 30s.
Background: I've been doing fire since mid 20s, primarily as a software engineer, learned about fire early on, saved, invested, bought houses, house hacked, index funds, etc. doing that for 8 years at this point, I am thankful for my results, but I am moving too slow and know I can be doing a lot more than a 9-5, aka I'm in the slow lane. I quit my 180k cushy job recently with nothing lined up purposefully to start anew, after 10 years of being in the tech industry I've been there and done that and I need new challenges in my life, I want to turn 180k annually into 180k monthly (or along those lines..). I'm looking for ideation and perspective from people who have already crossed this bridge or are currently crossing this bridge. I know what I need to do, I am still figuring "the what", and the purpose of this post and joining is to not have my hand held or to be given answers, as I know that is up to me to find the problems and execute on them, but to learn from others success. I also want to remark that this $200k is not my entire life's saving, I have other assets / savings, etc. separate from this. this is what I have allocated for myself to get started, and I plan to have a return on ever dollar of it I spend investing myself. id rather bet on myself with this money then let it compound another 8 years with me continuing to work. I want to do everything I can to make the most of the rest of my 30s and this opportunity I've bought myself. I never want to return to a 9 to 5 again.
What would you do in my shoes today?
Thanks
