1 year ago I didn't know any of you. I didn't know you could get rich quick. I didn't know you had to solve problems before trying to make money. Shit, I didn't even know that with just a "little" hard work, you can change your life for the better.
1 year ago I didn't legally have a business. I wasn't selling drugs or anything, but I didn't have something registered with the United States. I didn't have something that made money even when I wasn't working. I honestly didn't have something that allowed me to do more than just survive.
1 year ago I was just a 19 year old kid, from the hood (aka the ghetto), with little to no money, living off the government with my mom, trying to figure out how the hell does a young black kid like me get rich enough to never have to work for somebody else.
I didn't know how to do it but I knew I had to do it. I told myself I'm either going to be very successful or I'm going to be extremely poor from risking everything.
Man, I remember the first few weeks of me consistently being on this forum like it was yesterday. Reading every single thread, looking for "the secret". I was looking for that 1 thing or idea that would spark something in my head and help me change the way my family was living. I never found "the secret" because there isn't one. It's all hard work and being educated in what you do, or at least it's been that way for me.
This forum and the people on it have become family to me. You guys and girls have taught me things that will not only forever change my life, but the life of my current & future family.
I never thought at age 20 I would know exactly what I need to do be able to add that "millionaire" title to my bank account until some random millionaire that wasn't famous, or an athlete, wrote a book on the way shit works, and created a forum full of like minded people. That genius is known as MJ.
He doesn't get all the credit though. He has to share with a lot of you awesome mother_____s that have helped me a long the way. I would name you all but you already know who you are because I tell you a lot anyway
Not only have I grown business wise, but I have grown as a person. I've matured and now see what my priorities should be and what is really important in life.
If you're new to the forum or new to business like I was, I promise you with hard work you can make your life better. Leave all that bullshit that's not helping you alone. You will thank yourself later I swear.
You know whats crazy? I was hanging with a multi-millionaire mentor/friend (That I met from this forum) and we went to brunch with some of his successful friends. While talking about what we were working on and what we got planned, one dude was like "Well since I just sold my company to Google, I'm just hanging out for now". Like wtf, Are you serious? To a kid like me, to hang around a bunch of super successful people is still unbelievable. Just being around these guys make you smarter because dumb shit doesn't make into their lives. It's incredible.
I've done so much in 1 damn year than most do in their lifetime & you can do the same exact thing!
I didn't come from a financially fortunate/smart family. I come from NOTHING. If I can do it, I know you can do it.
