G'Day All,

I'm Matt, a 29-year-old Precision Agriculture Marketing Manager based in Sydney, Australia.

Yes, I'm still a Marketing Manager... still working for the master script makers. All in due time.

This is the start of a new journey for me with thanks to a new perspective founded in books (needless to say - MJ's books being a huge contributor). Seth Godin, Simon Sinek, Steven Pressfield and Ryan Holiday also deserving a mention.

I'm excited, shit scared but armed with the Script breaking knowledge that MJ valiantly unlocked, for which I am eternally grateful. Its a weird feeling knowing that nothing will ever be the same again. The life I wrongfully dreamed of as a kid. Done. The red pill is well and truly digested.

As for my next steps... Well working for a huge corporate AG manufacturer has shone the light so very clearly on opportunities to add value to Farmers. I am well on my way to building a business that I wish existed today and just by pure luck it fits the CENTS commandments.

Look forward to learning from you all.

Matt.

I used to be an Engineer for AgJunction building precision ag control and autosteer systems. It's a great market for small time companies to bring huge value to the market

I love the market, and its not terribly sizzle-worthy so there probably won't be a horde of people focusing on it.

Welcome to the forum Matt and thank you for the intro.

Nice Ryan.

I know AgJunction well. It’ll be interesting to see their direction with Kubota acquiring them.

The Precision Ag market is absolutely booming but only a fraction of Farmers are using it today - certainly the case my end of the world. Farmers need a support partner which many Precision Ag companies fail to do well.

There isn’t enough training and support infrastructure around the business today. That’s stalling its progress.

What are you up to these days?

Pleasure to meet you MJ… currently halfway through Rat Race and thoroughly enjoying it.

And you’re right. Silicon Valley are starting to throw more and more solutions out there but the global reach and infrastructure is yet to be realised.

So much is untapped and it 100% has to change... there soon wont be a choice.

Currently in Bio-tech as a product specialist. Getting my maker space off the ground and starting a fine furniture/ high end woodcrafting company off the ground.
