Previously, on the road to unscription : EXECUTION - The Slap - 6 Months Later - Procrastination & Confort

I'm now almost a year into the process of launching my 1st product.

And I'm happy to say that now, I have something to show : The Graptors Studs. We've published 3 videos on the YouTube Channel, a running website Graptors and today, the Kickstarter campaign is now live !

(I'm not too sure about the rules regarding posting a Kickstarter campaign, I will remove it if it's a problem and/or post it in another thread, let me know)

When we meet our goal, we will launch the manufacturing process so that, next fall, you can protect your lawn with Graptors !
The manufacturing will be done in Canada, with a UV-resistant ABS plastic, in orange for the 1st batch, by a Toronto-based manufacturing plant.

In the event of not reaching our goal, we already got back-up plans. We already are registred in the Canadian Entrepreneur Network, via the Chamber Of Commerce Du Montréal Métropolitain. We can apply to many gouvernment financing programs and lastly, we might just apply to the BDC (Business Development Bank of Canada) or any other banks that offers programs for start-ups.
Our ears are wide-open for other suggestions and ways to finance our initial launching cost !

Thank you for your time and for reading this ! If you have recommandations/tips/suggestions/whatever, don't hesitate ! As I'm starting this, everything's welcome !

Have a wonderful day and see you on the fastlane !

Do a spell check on the kickstarter campaign and website.

Have you sold any?

What color will they be?

I have distributed 44 prototypes. Given them away to people around me (coworkers, neighbors) because those were made with a 3D printer, with the potential problems that that method has. Received very insightful reviews and comments about them and applied the AAAs.

The 1st batch will be orange. If there's a demand for other colors, we might add them :)

Great job!
Give free samples to every hardware store in your area and see if they sell.
Might have to bundle with lawn covers to do good.
If I saw a pack with 20sq meters + clips I might buy.
Contact cover makers, ask if you can include your product.
Sell them your patent rights . It's patented right?

I am not your target market as it does not snow a lot in London.

With that in mind, I don’t see why I need the lawn cover or why I can’t use blocks/ stones. You mention in the video I shouldn’t use blocks/nails, but don’t say why.

Oh I see, you did mention in the description.

Nonetheless,
Nice to see your project coming to life!

Nice to see another Canadian e-commerce brand on here. I personally don't really care about the state of my lawn, but I know many people do. Only time and the market will tell whether or not there is demand for this product. Good luck!

I realized the video might have been unclear on the "why" avoid bricks/stones. Thanks for the feedback !
