If I take all my bank accounts, assets, and minus all debts, I'm now a millionaire.

View attachment 34997

I'm at right about $788,000 for income for the year and have over $100,000 coming in next month, so I should make a million dollars in profit to myself before the end of the year as well, which would be 1 million dollars in 1 year.

It's never been all about the money for me (I never buy anything and actually need to be coaxed into spending money on myself every now and then), but more proving I could do it and be able to invest into freedom for myself.

I definitely have some gray hairs coming in (I'm 30 and I literally have white hairs now), have dealt with all sorts of intense stress, etc.

But it has all been worth it and I have never grown more than I have these last several years.

I got Lyme disease and lost everything in 2016. I couldn't work for a year and a half. It brought me down to almost $0 net worth.

I wanted to die, the Lyme was so terrible I thought about wanting to it to all be over all the time, constant suffering, etc. I think that helped give me the ability to compartmentalize a lot of the pain that comes from business. Whenever business got hard, I just told myself, "This isn't harder than Lyme."

I incorporated my company on 9/26/2018 and am at the 2 year anniversary.

I checked my account today and it showed over 1 million and I didn't even know I was there. Feels good.

Goal now is to keep investing, keep growing as a human being, keep challenging myself to become better, and grow to a better and better leader to see what kind of impact I can make.

Congratulations on your milestone! Sounds like it's well deserved :)

Congrats!

I didn't even think to pop in here to see if there are any solar entrepreneurs . I just signed for a solar install with a company through energysage, do you use that site for leads? If so, how well does it work?

First, i applauded to your picture for about 15 seconds.
Second, try to have less stress, it causes more harm to your body than you can imagine. Maybe delegate some work, hire a manager and rent a house in the mountains of Canada or whatever :) just get some off time with your fam.

Keep it up man

Shouldn't it be more like spending rate $XX per hour if we talk about real world?
I think that would be classed as overhead expenses?

Congrats. Can you share your success story. How you get there. What extra did you do. Did anyone helped you, or you single handedly did everything on your own.

Guys, c'mon...

Even if you don't take the time to do a search on the forums, or click on the OP's username to find post history....THERE IS A FRIGGIN LINK ON THIS THREAD. Not once....but TWICE.

Not picking on you in particular, but people want EVERYTHING handed to them on a silver platter, its insane.

If someone can't be bothered to actually read the thread, the fastlane is way beyond reach, might as well give up and save the hassle.

OP has given away his industry, his process, his numbers, much more that most would, and people still want more.

Wow.

Anyway, congrats to OP, you deserve it and I know you will do much more!

From what I read, your strength is in sales.

If you could start over again, would you still go into solar?

That's a long story. But I started selling D2D 4-5 years ago. Got sick and couldn't work for 1.5 years. Started selling again slowly, then started my own business, then I worked my f*cking a$$ off for 2 years.

My time commitment for the last 2 years has been all day-long every day basically.

Well, I have some white hairs now lol. Guess that's what stress has done to me.

Still haven't fully beaten Lyme but I'm much better.

Solar panels.

Still have it, just managing it and keeping it at a certain level. I still get wrecked from time to time, especially when under a ton of stres.

Mint.com.

Being a Type A personality, that's one of the hardest parts about Lyme. I have a "rev limiter" like a car. I used to be able to rev to 10,000 RPM and now I can only rev up to 3,000 RPM. I have to limit myself a lot and not get carried away.

Still dealing with Lyme but getting much better.

I sell solar panels.

@halfstepdown88 Kudos! Congrats on your journey. And more grace for greater exploits! What are your top 3 or 5 business lessons or principles that propelled you on the journey, even though were ill and had losses in the past?

Exactly how do you sell the solar panels door to door? Do you have reps who actually knock on doors cold or is there some prior marketing involved? Can you explain your business in detail, like how it earns money?
