Hi all, so after a bit finally found this great position and with great pay alot of value. But have some deep concerns
They are the following:

* got the offer day after. Seems too quick

* interviewer was discussing how very casual it is and laid back.

* even salary seemed high a bit. Not complaining though lol

* the big one that is the interviewer said it is quite a bit religious as in lots of oeople are religious there. Interviewer said wont affect work but im concerned it will.

* got asked question nothing to interview but casual queation to see if i got something in commom to see how well il fit in.

What do u all think

As long as they're not forcing you to go to prayer meetings (unless that's your thing), then go for it.

What's your gut instinct though? You sound like there's something niggling you about the job. Was there something the interviewer avoided or skipped over?

At the end of the day, a high salary means you can save for a future (or current) business venture. Need one of those myself at the moment.

Nah everytime i apply for a job and get an interview and ESPECIALLY get the offer. Ill come up with stuff in my mind like "this doesnt seem right" also worried backlash will face from other people lol. I know i shouldnt.

Then you're just worried about getting stuck. It's fine though, the fact you're worrying about it says you won't.

It's taken me about 30 years to realise that other people's opinions on stuff you do is really not worth all that. In fact I read something the other day which gave me a real aha moment, even though it's really obvious when you say it out loud.

"Being self conscious is actually you trying to work out what other people think of you. Which doesn't actually reflect how they really do."

Or another one of my faves by Oscar Wilde:

"You'll cease to care what other people think about you, when you realise how little they do!"

Good luck mate, keep up the hustle

Expect alot of hiring and firing to take place in the company.

* interviewer was discussing how very casual it is and laid back.
Its a trap. No such thing as a "laid back" job which is worth your time.
Being a night guard is pretty laid back and pays the minimum.

* even salary seemed high a bit. Not complaining though lol
The more the better.

* the big one that is the interviewer said it is quite a bit religious as in lots of oeople are religious there. Interviewer said wont affect work but im concerned it will.
Well this is easily avoidable. If they start to preassure you with religious stuff, you can always get out of there.

* got asked question nothing to interview but casual queation to see if i got something in commom to see how well il fit in.
No idea about this one.
It could be that they have a project to complete and dont care about qualifications that much.
OR maybe the HR department isnt good at their job.
No idea.

Go with your gut.

High paying jobs usually mean alot more hours are required at work.

I'm sure jobs are out there that don't but I haven't experienced this unicorn job yet.

Only you can decide.

If it seems to good to be true it probably is.

Your title says " Found the perfect job". I would say none of the negatives you mentioned would outweigh the " perfect job". Just do it and make sure you leave your current job on good terms so you don't burn any bridges.

How does your "perfect job" do when rated by "CENTS" ?

Everyone needs to pay the bills while they work on their own thing, but working for an employer should not be the final goal.

You should ask them why is the name different.
Also check for termination clause in the contract.
See under what conditions they and you can end the contract.

lol, what happened?
firing happened, and I was part of it lol. Sucked actually. And while the environment seemed laid back, I felt like there wasn't much room for error and it was actually more full on than I expected.
