Entrepreneur Podcast

I was wanting to start an entrepreneur podcast with a twist. I was curious what questions you would want to hear from such a podcast both as an entrepreneur and someone from the outside. Is there a sweet spot on the length of the podcast and frequency? For those who have been on podcasts, were there any questions that bothered you? Were there questions that you wish they asked you? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I think you are on the right track. But honestly the first thing I do is look for a transcript so that I can get right to the meat. But that is just me.

I really love case studies. I love the challenges that were overcome others can leverage from.

Will be different sweet spots depending the content and the accomplishments of the guests I think and some people are just more infotaining than others.

I would look at what you could do differently rather than concentrate on the small stuff (length ect..)

Entrepreneurs on Fire (EOF) killed it because John Lee Dumas was frustrated as he wanted to listen to The Smart Passive Income podcast every morning on his daily commute. No one was doing a daily podcast, and he saw that as a pain point, but also an opportunity. So he set one up loosely modelled on Pat Flynn's.

He had amazing success in the early years but today entrepreneurship podcasting is a crowded marketplace and he has had to diversify into providing courses etc. to maintain his income stream, but it is still nowhere near what he used to earn. Most probably because sponsors have more choice and his audience has been diluted due to the plethora of competition (I haven't listened to it in years).

So I would say if you want to get into this space what could you do to shake it up and really get noticed?

Oh I listen to EOF. It has its moments but it also has some terrible filler. So my idea was basically sitting down and eating with an entrepreneur. Kinda like that Seinfeld Netflix show Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee.
