And I'm not asking about the ethical implications of this. I'm asking if people think this is good business or not. Their policy made me think 'well I'll never buy from them,' and even if I was going to buy from a local shop (i have a few times) it will be from the second guys.
Guess it depends on the margins for the labor and the type of volume they're doing. We may never know.
Who knows, maybe doing your mount for $50 they will end up losing $250 from a guy who bought the tires there. A part of me says "a customer is a customer" but you really never know the details until you have the numbers.
