Hello people! I'm Nicolas and I live in Argentina.

My history is this: I'm an IT engineer who graduated few months ago, I'm 25 and I work for a multinational company (I actually have a 9 to 5 job).

The first thing I did when I finished TMF was crying.. but those were not tears of fear... but tears of hope and happiness!

I'm currently on my way of creating the life I always dreamed of: I'm on a project with a friend and we're just starting out, but I'm so excited about that, that I can't wait to help all of the people that I want to reach with the product we're creating.

Anyway, that's my story so far!

Do you all have some advices for me? I thank you in advance and I stay tuned for every insight that you post.

Nicolas

Hey Nicolas, I just finished my intro and thought what you are doing right now sounds a bit similiar to my situation - did you quit your job or are you thinking about it? If not, what's keeping you from doing it?

Hello FastlaneFlo! I still have not quit my job, but I've been thinking about it ... what is preventing me is creating the Minimum Viable Product (MVP). Then, when I see that it is done and I see that I can reach more and more people with the product, I resign. It's a bit frightening at first, but it can be done

Tell me more about your story!

A bit of the same, I plan to make a move towards my boss by friday. My idea is to openly talk about it and discuss options of reducing hours so I could also build the MVP before being completely out. I'm not sure right now if it's so cool to not have the daily office routine completely. On the other hand, if he says no to such an option, I would probably quit as I have the luxury of low rent and some cash i put aside to survive a couple of months... not sure :D
