i am interested in starting an e-business to escape my corporate confines. i have some money saved and would like to start figuring out what i need to accomplish this.

Simple question; ballpark, how much does this site cost to be built and be maintained.

i ask specifically about this site because i really like the way it is laid out and the simplicity of it.

another question, would it be best to leave the maintenance of the site to a "web manager" (not sure of the correct word) or should i do the obvious and also learn how to maintain the site myself
