whats up internet? I have a question for you…

What is value?

is value a Ferrari? is it water? is it food or shelter?

give this a second, really think about it…

The answer is; value is everything… it’s subjective, its an idea, it’s a Ferrari, it’s food, it’s clothing, it’s whatever moves you to feel desire at a particular point in time.

so with that said, why not art?

why can’t your idea’s be worth money?

who says their not valuable? people who want proof and evidence that your qualified to receive money? what if the people who have proof and evidence suck? then their really just spending money on the proof and evidence & not so much the actual thing their buying, aren’t they? people spend millions of dollars on paintings, just canvases with some colors splattered over them… but it’s valuable to them because it move’s them to feel desire.

So I invite you to consider an idea..

If Jay Z wants a Picasso why not make one for him?

Why not become the Picasso of your particular craft & make something so good it can inspire a person like Jay Z?

If money didn’t matter, how much would you pay for art lessons from Picasso? A million? A Hundred Million? Anything he wanted?

People don’t buy products, They buy an Intangible feeling that comes with that product, when people buy bottled water their not buying the water, they could get that from the faucet, their buying the feeling that their drinking water that’s somehow better than whats in the faucet. Their buying a sense of superiority, their buying a sense of “health consciousness”, their buying their favorite brand, even if its the same as the other water, they like their brand better.

People buy the intangibles as much as the tangibles, alot of time people spend money on information products because they want a sense of control, they want to feel like they have a proven plan, if they are successful it more than likely has alot more to do with their own work ethic and drive than anybodies instructions, but the confidence you get from the instructions is what gets you inspired to go out & make it a reality.

You need to be the Picasso of your craft, immerse yourself in it & create the type of content that’s going to inspire people to go after their goals as viciously and relentlessly as possible, People will pay ANY amount of money for that, people will do ANYTHING for that level of inspiration & confidence, because without it they have nothing but a dream.

Why does Jay Z want a Picasso so bad? because its something tangible with facts and evidence? or because it inspires him?

Inspiration is priceless, Confidence is priceless, Inner-peace is priceless

become a high end art dealer, not a salesman.

Jay-Z radiates too much egotism and arrogance for me to take him seriously, and by proxy that bias passes down onto you. Sorry.

That's perfectly fine, my particular brand of egotism and arrogance is only to be appreciated by a chosen few, thanks for the comment.

You mean just because he was on TV last week talking about how horrible the economic divide is in the United States, and how it is going to cause an uprising?

He's entitled to every single dollar he earned. He just needs to learn to shut up and sing.

Lol idk saying somebody who's worth about a half billion "needs shut up and sing" is the definition of arrogant egotism, if you ask me.

Just because someone has a high net worth doesn't mean they know what the F*ck they're talking about.
so if some random person came on here with a product for "how to get rich" you would say they don't know what their talking about because they don't have a high enough net worth.

but when Jay Z talks about socioeconomic issues, he doesn't know what he's talking about despite having an ultra high networth

interesting, I guess that means value is subjective and people are either gonna love you or hate you & this post is 10x more valid because you guy's just proved it, thanks.

Vigilante, where do "we" young make mistake? It is our "screw everything any anything" attitude, or our stubborness, or.. ?

Sometimes I got this feeling, this rebel in me that "There's got to be something more than just "solve problem and provide value"..

If I could go all back and do it all again, I probably would do it all the same way. You have to take a few hits on the chin before you find your path. I literally built a company and had it ripped away before I learned how to protect a company. I think I had to go through most of what I went through. I could have shortened up the learning curve though if I had met the right people along the way.

I was you once. Take risks. Have fun. You'll get there. Use people like some of the people that hang around here to shorten the learning curve.

Some of your generation has it tough because they know that there is a better way. Some of your generation has it tough because they don't. I am not sure yet which side is blessed, and which side is cursed.

I'm not sure what point your trying to make with this post because it seems a little vague, but you didn't say anything I disagree with as far as I know? I feel like there's some sarcasm but I can't be sure, do you mind elaborating on what your getting at?

Yeah, I really don't feel like we're arguing different points

I think were saying the same thing, but anytime you learn anything there's somewhat of an indoctrination process where you learn one particular way of doing it and that become's dogma to you.. but I'm the type of person who is best to create his own dogma because I'm just really bad at following what other people say.

Give value is a good point, I'm just saying art is value too.. Inspiring the confidence to get out there and do your thing is solving a problem, is it not?

The point of this post is -you can do it, is that wrong? should I reconsider that idea & only follow the millionaire fast lane way? or do I just have my own way of understanding the same ideas?

good talk, I gotta go, later.

No, I didnt even though about sarcasm, Im just trying to learn

In my small, Eastern European city every person you see is 100% sidewalk.. sometimes you can see a better car driving by from nearby bigger city (that actually started my journey - How they get this cars?! if they can do it, surely I can do it too! This car is there for purpose goddamnit to buy it!) So as I'am on this forum Im trying to ask question (and venting my feelings from time to time :) )

So no harm from my side was intended :)

Can we ban JayZ worship threads? The guy is sickening and is a toxic "role model" for young people. Hyopcrite like much of hollyweird, do as we say, not as we do. Pimping out drugs and violence in music and film, yet many of them are against those things with their PSA lip service.

Place the lyrics of that picasso song you posted here so people can read them. What is he selling? how he worked hard? hell no.

Do a word cloud on the lyrics. I WANT, I WANT, I WANT. He is pimping out lifestyle, greedy wants, rude disrepectful lyrics (F*ck my wife like a prostitute?) really? really? Someone should show Buffett and Forbes the lyrics and ask him what they think now.

Sometimes just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I took it as we should learn from folks like Vigilante rather than war with em', and it's best to keep it simple; become selfless, listen to peoples problems, and create a solution that solves their pain point (thus creating value for them)... PROFIT.

Why does Jay Z want a Picasso? Because it's a name brand. It's really that simple. Brag rights. His brand is different from someone like Baby (Cash Money - Lil Wayne), Jay is going into that whole "sophisticated gangsta" thing. Sorta like "you want gold teef? I want Picasso". I had a chance to listen Magna Carta from start to finish when it first came out..I'll never listen to it again, why?

Well you can only hear a man brag so much, eventually you just want to claim something of your own.

Eh.. To me... Jay Z created an empire from scratch.. he can brag all he wants, he can talk about alll the negative stuff he wants.... at the end of the day.. I'll still have my notepad out because that man knows what he's doing.

It really sounds like alot of people are more upset that it happened to jay z and not them.

I think it upsets people that jay z can be so imperfect but still get success beyond anything we'll ever see

to me that's a sign that I should be learning from this guy, not trying to condemn him, who am I to judge jay z? what qualifies me to scrutinize how jay z lives? if you don't wanna F*ck your wife like a prostitute maybe you just don't live hard enough to be jay z?
