So I've been listening to a lot of Dan Kennedy lately, and he preaches that the best way to learn something new (business, new language, etc) is to listen to it repeatably through audio books.
It is called learning without effort, because you can do this in your car, while doing laundry, cutting the lawn, etc. You don't have to dedicate time like you would reading a book.
The average person spends over 200 hours in travel time per year. Imagine dedicating those hours to learning new material? You will have an advantage over everybody.
The problem with most people is that they listen to it once. He says that you should listen to the same audio for 21 days. By doing this, it sinks into your subconscious mind and you will retain all of the information.
Remember, more than half of what you read and listen to once is forgotten within a week.
This method requires literally no effort. It only requires the discipline to stop listening to music and putting personal development first.
I plan to do this every morning when I wake up, while I am driving, and while I am sleeping. It essentially is automated learning..
