How can u get where you're going if you haven't defined the "where". My goal is to be financially free and in order for that place to be real for me I need to be earning 10 grand a month. 10gs comes from all I desire in a month. Eating out every day if I want. 100. A day $3000 monthly. 4000 a month mortgage on my dream house. 1000 a month for my dream car.1000 a month to give and help others. 1000 a month to piss off.

That would be my ideal set up. Although II wouldn't mind having more. And I'm certain I can live on less.

OK where I am now. Dead broke. Net worth 0 dollars. Credit score. 475.no assets. I drive a 1993 honda accord. It runs but in no way is it beautiful. I recently obtained my cdl. I now drive truck in north Dakota.

Where I want to be and where I am now seem far away. But if I commit to a plan. And a lifestyle change. I should be able to get there in a few short years.

I will post my progress over the years.

A distant relative of mine uses a relatively small flat bed truck to haul all sorts of shipments throughout the country. He brings in at least $100,000 a year, but obviously has to drive long hours. It's not something that will "set you free," however it may provide you the means to do something bigger (i.e. start your own logistics company, buy assets, etc). Good luck!

Certainly there's opportunity there?

Amail is correct. There is money FLOWING in ND right now. Maybe the best state in the nation today for new businesses. ND is currently the land of milk and honey. Get yourself into one of the hubs where the oil boom is happening.

Do the rest of your life a favor and read The Millionaire Fastlane. You can grab the first three chapters for FREE here :

http://www.themillionairefastlane.com/

To be honest I think your not aiming high enough, 10k a month isn't a whole lot of money, it's pennys if you want to live a real millionaires lifestyle.

What kind of dream car costs 1000 per month?. Most ppls dream cars are 250,000$+, which would take decades to finance on 1000 per month, unless you pay cash.

Im just curious why you chose 10,000$ instead of 100,000, 1,000,000 or 10,000,000$ per month.

rdogg... what difference does the # make? This is a bullshit circle jerk. Others on this forum call it mental masturbation. Visualizing a # means nothing. Zero. Zilch. Zip.

Wanting a $250k car? Also doesn't make you get there.

You guys are focused on the wrong things.

By the way, if you drive a piece of shit car, a grand a month can buy you a pretty nice ride (if you like car loans).

Refocus. Monthly money goals are for dreamers.

You don't see ANY of the action takers on this forum talking about their monthly income goal.

You add value to people's lives and the money will be there.

My monthly goal? More. That's my number. More. How do I get more? I solve more problems, and make people's lives better.

It might surprise you that I don't want to live a millionaires lifestyle (at least, as you see it.)

I had lunch with some guys yesterday and I told them I want the opposite. I want to live the life of a beach bum. When someone pulls up next to me in their debt leveraged Lambo, and I am in my open top jeep with the board rack on the back, they will feel sorry for me as they head back to their stressful, 50 hour per week day jobs. I will never have another one of those jobs the rest of my life. They're stuck on a gerbil wheel they can't get off of. I own the gerbil wheel manufacturing factory.

There's a whole different way to look at life.

Vig's right, guys. Aiming for some number is pointless. Unlike darts or basketball, focusing on a target isn't gonna help. There's no finish line, no bullseye.

Put your energy into discovering ways you can offer value and start offering it. Real wealth comes to those who offer lots of value to lots of people.

Read the book.

You can click the "like" button or you can click the "speed post" button.

In real life, if someone helps you or gives you a gift, it does not matter if you like the gift, you ALWAYS say "thank you". Solutions. Convenience. Problem solving.

All your thinking and dreams about $X dollars per month continues to be more mental masturbation, which flows direct from more Law of Attraction BS.

Sure, the positive thinking is great but it's like expecting to build a 5,000 square foot house with a hammer and a box of nails .... much ado over nothing ... like dabbling with the deck chairs on a sinking Titanic.

jcpoolgod said:

How can u get where you're going if you haven't defined the "where".

To answer your question, you should START and be DRIVEN by the problem you aim to solve. Do that and all this other shit you seek shall follow.

Also, it doesn't sound like you read my book and if you did, you certainly didn't comprehend it.

Mj relax. Geeze lol. I bought it like three days ago.

And others thanks for the job posts. I'm out here in it. I know what its like. Lots of money here. You can start at Walmart making 17 bucks an hour. 80 hour work weeks. The driving side has slowed down a little because of the pipelines. But there is a shit load of jobs here. That's why I camee over from Idaho. My buddy does the same job as me. For the same company. Makes 6 grand A check. I make three. I'm a new driver. But he just happens to be in an excellent truck. With the best routes.

Just so you guys all know. I am already making progress. I got my cdl. Just recently and came out here. To improve my life. I just wasted a couple of checks that's all...

And as far as my spending problem. I'm working on a budget and a plan.

Thanks everyone

You are 31 and broke with bad credit. You don't see that you wasted more than a couple of checks? You have been an adult for 13 years and you are broke?
We should not aiming for numbers, we should be focusing in making our plan successful. And you are working hard for that. And hopefully, if the plan of yours work, that would be the start of a successful life that you are aiming. Good luck!
