Hey all, I read MJ’s book back in February this year and loved it, also re-read it multiple times since. I’ve been trolling the forum since Feb throwing my 2 cents in here and there but never officially intro’d myself (you can read my bio on my profile page). I’ve “officially” been an entrepreneur for the past 15 years (if there is such a thing as officially being an entrepreneur…haha), and now its time to ask for you 2 cents…literally by providing feedback on my (and my partner’s) Fastlane biz at Vuier.com- Home.
First, a little bit about my experiences, my first business brought relatively good success in the financial sector and taught me how to run a business, however after 10 years I found that I had lost my passion for this particular business and was seeking a way to parlay my success into something more, something that I could leverage and has scale and not be a slave to my own business. I hung on for 2 more years before I exited and from there I joined a startup in the technology sector. We had many challenges that we faced, more than I care to get into here, however at the end of the day and investing (ok, squandering) much of my own personal money the company failed. I learned many lessons from that startup and currently just launched Vuier after working on it for well over a year.
I believe we’ve done most things right this time, learning from previous failures, and it has all the makings of being Fastlane, not only for myself and business partner but also it enables our customers to enter the Fastlane by providing them leverage and scale in the online video world.
So would love for some feedback after you take a look at what we have created. The basic premise of the business is a way to monetize online video without using advertising, rather an “in-player” payment gateway.
