My name is Tim Debronsky. I live in Cleveland, OH. A friend of mine told me about this forum and the book. So I joined and ordered the book last week.

I currently still have a 9-5 JOB, but I want to be Free! I want to create more passive income which will allow me to spend more time with my wife and 5 beautiful children. I also want to give more of my time and money to helping others. I just want to people live free like it was meant to be.

Over the past 5 plus years I have helped thousands of investors take control of their Retirement Plans (ie. IRAs/401ks) and save millions in taxes by investing in real estate, businesses, mortgages, tax liens, foreign currency with a Self-Directed IRA or 401k.

I currently work in Sales for an Internet Marketing Company. I invest in real estate part-time (residential), but would love to get into apartment investing to create more passive income.

My goal for 2011 is to replace my current income, so that I can become truly self-employed and continue to create passive income. I also want to coach others on how to use Self-Directed IRAs to build their Retirement Accounts and how to build a business using IRA funds if that is what they want to do.

I look forward to meeting and connecting with new like-minded entrepreneurs in this forum!

Welcome Tim.

So, is your 9-5 the sales position, and the IRA coaching is a part-time type of job you do?

Welcome to the forum!

Thanks!

Yes, my 9-5 is in sales with a Real Estate Internet Marketing company. It's a great company, but I just want total freedom and more income. The IRA coaching is something I've started to do a little on the side, but really want to launch Q1 this year.

You don't need any license. I have more than 6 yrs of experience doing my own investments and helping others use their Self-Directed IRA. I worked for an IRA custodian for 5 yrs.

I am getting my Real Estate license in Ohio, so I can sell investment properties for other investors to some of my students. I may eventually get a Series 65 license. I'll have a few good CPAs, Attorneys and Advisors to refer business to as well.

First, I plan to structure as a membership site with some group coaching.

I'm more than happy to help anyone on this forum use their IRA/401k funds for Non-Traditional Investments like Real Estate and Businesses.

Oh boy, you just open a big door there... I know a few here --myself included-- who have money sitting on 401(k) plans. I have always been told there is nothing I can do to invest in anything that is not part of the plan. Well, at least not without either taking a loan on it or a withdrawal with the penalty, and both cases defeat the purpose.

As long as your 401k or any qualified plan (ie. 403B, 457, Thrift Savings Plan) are with a former employer you have a lot of options, which I could help you with.

Unfortunately, if your funds are still with your current employer you are usually limited to taking a personal loan and paying yourself back at a low interest rate.

Please let me how else I may be able to help.

no computer probs, Already been given the heads up.
my reply to the previous private email is below.

Thanks for that. I do apologise. but from the previous post I sent I recall saying i didint have an education and I havent. But Im not someone who has lied down and excepted it either. What I also said is I have had alot of great teachers come and go and have learnt something every time.

I too like alot of others here am someone who deserves to have a break and didnt realise punctuation marks in sentences were much of an issue when there is flooding in qld Australia with alot of people i know loosing everything. That seems minor and petty.

I am learning how to use this site so i am going to make some mistakes. That is generally how I learn. So again I apologise if this is rubbing people up the wrong way. It justs suprising for something that seems so small but nice to know that you have communicated this to me.

I posted twice or at different sites because I wasnt sure if i had done this correctly. Thanks for the heads up and the fyi. I do appreciate it. (thatll be why i posted it three times, apologies)

I know of no one on this forum who thinks that they "deserve" anything. Whatever they want in life, they go after it until they achieve it.

I myself, have been recently diagnosed with cancer. I don't 'deserve' anything more now than before when I didn't have cancer.

"The world owes you nothing, it was here first" -Mark Twain

Some people on this forum have suffered hardships throughout their lives that would be unimaginable to most people.. and yet we go on without complaining or expecting anything special because of our less than ideal upbringings/life experiences.

What is the relation between flooding in Australia, and typing on a forum. There is no relation.

That would be the equivalent of me saying, "Well, why should I shower and wash my hair before going into a business meeting... There are children in Africa dying of malaria... showering seems so petty." It's a sign of respect.

If you show us respect (by taking the time to type semi-legibly), we will give it in return.

I don't know which forum member mentioned your punctuation/spelling, but I'm sure they did it with good intention. By typing and spelling correctly, your questions become more readable, and therefore more people are open to helping you.

I personally have no problem with the way you type, my concern was whether or not you were a spammer (there are many that pop up on the forum all the time). You're not a spammer, so no worries :)

There are some absolutely amazing people on this forum who will answer any questions you may have, but it's a two way relationship.

Don't get me wrong, you and anyone else has the ability and opportunity to achieve your dreams... but fastlaners generally (if not always) do not make excuses or complain.

As for making mistakes, I see no harm in that. Everyone learns from mistakes, that's natural.. just don't make excuses.

I was the one that talked to her Ryan. If I recall you were a little rough around the edges when you first joined, huh? Now look at you, all growing and working on your plan. Sometimes you learn best when teaching.:smxF:

Yeah, I was pretty much an ignorant fool. The day something clicked was the day that MJ essentially online bitch-slapped me. I've never looked back since.

I get kind of edgy because of my current health situation... It just urks me when someone wants sympathy. I'm working on it so I apologize.

It's cool Ryan. Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Do you want to tell us how bad it is and the outlook?

I would if I knew. I'm still waiting for my health care to be valid (there's a three month transfer period when you move from one province to another.. the three month wait ends this month for me)... then I can get more specific tests to know the exact form.

Generally though, the various specific forms that I could have are very curable, and those that aren't curable grow so slow that I could basically live my entire life (50 years +) without needing any treatment.

It's definitely not an extremely aggressive form (considering symptoms showed up 6 months ago), but at the same time, if it's an indolent (non-aggressive) form, it's basically incurable.

The fact that I'm young helps the prognosis a lot as well. The majority of people who actually die of lymphoma are well over 75 years old.

I'm just tired of waiting for more tests... I happened to move at the absolute worst time for dealing with something of this nature.

Keep yourself as healthy and busy as possible Ryan. The three months will go by faster. I wish you well.

I am not looking for sympathy since we are going there i have lupus sle infact. Such as life. I am looking for help you have made your own story up about how you have percieved my message to be. I am merely trying to do what i have to for the sake of my children. By no means is it a form of sympathy if you have an optimistic mindset then you will know it is determination and courage. At no point did i say the world owed me anything everyone deserves chances in life but it is absolutely healthy to agree to disagree. It is how you say things to people the msg i recieved was was merely on the fact there were no punctuation marks in my sentences which we both agreed were petty. You are a teacher who works with underpriveledged children so if anyone should understand it should be you. Because of your position i guess there is an expectation for you to mentor, not rip people apart for the mistakes they make. I do not wish to be part of this forum anymore. thankyou michelle

That's OK with me Michelle. I fail to see where I ripped anyone apart for their mistakes. I actually, kindly told Ryan to give you a chance. If I offended you it wasn't intentional and I would like to know exactly what I said that was offensive. I can arrange for you to be off of the forum if you wish.

Good luck.

There are some strange people in this world..

One person's opinion of you should not stop you from achieving your goals. What I say or what anyone else says really doesn't matter. You have an admirable goal (that of bettering the lives of you and your children), so why let anything stop you? Why should you care at all about my attitude towards you?

I also apologized for having misread your post. It happens.

And obviously, you didn't pay any mind to runum's suggestion.

Reading large blocks of text is kind of difficult and turns people off, who would otherwise be open to helping you. The suggestion made was intended to help the forum members to better help you. There was nothing malicious about it.

Michele-

You have a lot of growing up to do. That's OK. We've all had our own ups and downs.

BTW, if you ever feel like the world is "ripping you up", your reality filter may need adjusting. Some may actually be trying to help you.

Your statements indicate you do not realize that WHAT you are typing is NOT what others are reading.

And as long as you do this, you will be misunderstood.

Realize that the more you work on your writing skills, the better you will be able to get your point across.
