I'm absolutely astounding how some people are afflicted with learned helplessness.

In the last 24 hours, I think I've been peppered with the same damn question "How do I get started?" a half dozen times.

Well, how do you get started in ANYTHING?

You practice. You play. You use.

How do I get started to run a marathon?
You run.

How do I get started to play piano?
Find a piano keyboard and play.

How do I get started playing tennis?
Pickup a racket and play.

How do I get started in swimming?
Find a pool and jump in.

How do I get started writing a book?
Open a blank document and write one, single, solitary sentence.

How do I get started learning to code?
Find a "Hello, World!" tutorial and do it.

How do I get started investing?
Open a brokerage account and buy one share of one company.

How do I get started lifting weights?
Go to a gym and pick up a 10-pound dumbbell.

How do I get started learning a new language?
Download an app and learn how to say "hello."
