My situation:
I'm graduating from an undergrad in Business in 8 months. I've worked several internships at large companies through my degree, and know that isn't the path I want to take. Ideally I want to get something started on the side now, so that by the time I graduate, I'll have something to devote 100% of my time to.
Originally, I planned to get involved with a business on the internet. Recently I've been watching many videos on mixergy.com, where the guy interviews successful internet startup entrepreneurs. The thing is after watching these, it makes it seem like they are all living on a different planet. They seem to have a complete subculture of internet startup guys, where they all know each other and seem to be in the loop on eachothers businesses. Perhaps this happens if you are involved with sites which funded through certain investors...
I think a part of me being lost is that I've always envisioned and dreamed myself as someone who will be a successful entrepreneur. Now that it's time to actually do it, I've been brought back down to reality.
Anyway, thanks for reading my babbling - if you have been in a lost state and found your way and have some insight or want to beat some sense into me, it's most welcome! :fryingpan:
