hi fellow fastlaners!
ever since i've completed TMF , i've been thinking about needs I could meet and value I could provide.
I use reddit to follow businesses that I care about, and find communities that are like-minded.
one day as I was using reddit, it occurred to me that reddit is a treasure trove of human-generated data, which means there might be real problems faced by real people.
following the book's advice to listen to keywords relating to problems, there could be potential business ideas hidden in plain sight.
so I went ahead to (legally and ethically) retrieve reddit's data to generate ideas.
I would love to share this little web application with all of you, in hopes that it could give you a head start or a general direction to think about problems and ideas faced by different communities of people. (link here: reddit ideas)
this is how the web app looks like:

all you have to do is to fill in the subreddit of interest (in my case, the CRM subreddit),
then provide how relevant do you want your data to be (year, month, week, etc.)
click on 'ideate'.. and you it will provide you with (hopefully) something useful and data-driven.
it is pretty much still a mvp and work in progress, so please expect it to be a little bit buggy.
if you've tried it, please give me your feedbacks! enjoy!
